Author Guidelines

The Editorial Board of the Romanian Journal of Business and Economics is prepared to consider for publication:
(a) reports of empirical studies likely to further our understanding of Management/Economics
(b) critical reviews of the literature
(c) theoretical contributions.
Papers will be evaluated by the Editorial Board and referees in terms of scientific merit, readability, and interest to a general readership.
1. Circulation
The circulation of the Journal is worldwide. Papers are invited and encouraged from authors throughout the world.
2. Length
Papers should normally be no more than 14 pages (including the abstract, reference list, tables and figures), although the Editor retains discretion to publish papers beyond this length in cases where the clear and concise expression of the scientific content requires greater length.
3. Submission and reviewing

All correspondence, including notification of the Editor's decision and requests for revision, takes place electronically. The Journal operates a policy of anonymous peer review.
4. Manuscript requirements
• The paper must be in Word format, Margins: Top/Bottom 3.54cm/1.18", Inside/Outside 2.54cm/0.78", Font: Arial. All sheets must be numbered.
• Manuscripts should be preceded by a title page which includes a full list of authors and their affiliations, as well as the corresponding author's contact details. A template can be downloaded from HERE.
• All articles should be preceded by an Abstract of between 100 and 200 words (maximum 10 lines), giving a concise statement of the intention, results or conclusions of the article.
• Quotations should be kept to a minimum. Authors must obtain written permission from the publisher to use a quotation that exceeds 250 words.
• Figures should be high resolution with descriptive headings. The on-line version of a paper may include color figures.
• Simplify the presentation of data. Round data to no more than three digits where possible. Organize tables and charts to aid understanding.

The required elements for a reference are:
Authorship, Year. Title of book. [type of medium] Place of publication (if known): Publisher. Followed by "Available at: <include web address or URL for the e-book> [Accessed date]."

For publications found on the internet the required elements for a reference are:
Author or corporate author, year. Title of document. [typeofmedium] Place: Producer/Publisher. Available at:< include web site address/URL(Uniform Resource Locator)> [Accessed date].
Authors should ensure that there is a strict one-to-one correspondence between the authors' names (years) in the text and those in the reference list.
In general, only published references should be cited. If unpublished, indicate how copies may be obtained.
Please check all references against their original sources.
5. Pre-submission English-language editing
Authors for whom English is a second language may choose to have their manuscript professionally edited before submission to improve the English.
